Tenant help & reporting
For tenants and residents of properties maintained by Fixly. Report a heating fault or change your gas safety inspection appointment. It takes about two minutes.
Safety check first
Before anything else, we need to rule out a gas emergency.
Can you smell gas, or is a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm sounding?
What do you need?
Choose one to get started.
This is a gas emergency
Stop. Do this now, before reporting anything to us.
Call 0800 111 999 National Gas Emergency Service (free, 24 hours)- Open all doors and windows to ventilate the property.
- Turn off the gas at the meter (emergency control valve) if you can reach it safely. Do not enter a cellar or basement to do this.
- Put out naked flames. Do not smoke.
- Do not touch electrical switches. Don't turn anything on or off.
- Make the call from outside the property or from a neighbour's home.
Once you have called 0800 111 999 and you are safe, you can still let us know, and we'll arrange any follow-up repair after the emergency engineer has made the property safe.

Change your inspection appointment
Your landlord gas safety check is a legal requirement, so we can't cancel it, but we're happy to move it to a time that suits you.
Inspections run Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm. Weekends aren't available.
Quick boiler check
Have a look at the boiler if it's safe and easy to do. This often tells us exactly what part to bring.
Over 65, children under 5, or a medical condition affected by the cold. This helps us prioritise.
Check & send
We'll come back to you on the number you've given.
Report sent
Thanks, we've got it. We aim to respond to residents of properties we maintain the same working day, and sooner where someone vulnerable is affected.
